Meet Our Founder

Naatiya Kalaimani Guru Smt. Dr. S.Narmadha

Naatiya Kalaimani Guru Dr. S. Narmadha is the Founder and Artistic Director of Sri Narumugai Naatyalaya Arts & Cultural Academy. A distinguished Bharathanatyam exponent, teacher, choreographer and cultural ambassador, she has devoted her life to preserving India's classical dance traditions and mentoring generations of aspiring artists.

With decades of teaching and performance experience, Dr. S. Narmadha has guided countless students from their first dance lessons to advanced performances and Arangetram. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in the traditional Guru–Shishya Parampara, combined with a structured and student-centered approach that develops technical excellence, artistic expression, confidence and cultural values.

Under her visionary leadership, the academy continues to inspire students to pursue excellence while preserving the beauty and authenticity of Indian performing arts.
